Educational Credentials: Ph.D. and MBA, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (1992); MS and BS, Northeastern University of China (1982 and 1984).
Dr. Wang’s recent 10+ publications have been focusing on the comparisons of the classroom teaching vs. Online Education in term of Procrastination, Test Integrity, Anxiety and Learning Styles. He has also published in the areas of Inventory Management and project Management. His publications appear in Applications of Management Science, International Business Research, Journal of Academic Ethics, International Journal of Education Research, The American Journal of Distance Education, College Student Journal, Educational Review, Journal for Economic Educators, Journal of Educational and Behavioral Statistics, and Practical Assessment, Research & Evaluation.
Dr. Wang joined FDU 1992 and is now a professor in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Statistics and he teaches undergraduate, MBA and EMBA.
Dr. Wang also serves at his local community in various capacities: He was elected to Edison Board of Education in 2003 and was also appointed by New Jersey Governor to serve as the commissioner of the State School Ethics Commission from 2003 to 2006. He is proud of his Chinese Heritage and served as the president of Huaxia Chinese School across NJ, NY, CT, and PA with over 10,000 students from 2001 to 2003.
Gary J. Bronson, Ph.D. Professor of Decision Science
Dr. Bronson received his Ph.D. from Stevens Insitue of Technology. He has taught courses in Information Systems, Statistics, Quatntitative Analysis, and Decision Systems.
Dr. Bronson has twice been awarded Teacher of the Year, once at the college level and once at the campus level. In 2007 he received the university's award for outstanding research and publication.
Dr. Bronson has published numerous articles in both trade and academic journals, and over 15 textbooks on programming languages. These include Visual Basic, C, C++, and Java. Additionally, he has been a consultant to a number of financial firms and was an invited lecturer to Bell Laboratories' in-house continuing education program.
Rajesh Chandrashekaran, Ph.D. Professor of Marketing
Rajesh Chandrashekaran holds a BS degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from India; and an MBA and PhD in Marketing from Rutgers University. He is currently Professor of Marketing at the Silberman College of Business. His teaching experience includes Marketing Management, Buyer Behavior, Advertising Management and Marketing Research. In recognition of his excellence in teaching, the Student Government elected him as Teacher of the Year in 2002. Dr. Chandrashekaran’s research interests are primarily in the area of pricing. Particularly, he is interested in investigating the psychological effects of various pricing strategies and tactics. Most recently, Dr. Chandrashekaran has been examining the exact nature of brain activity that is associated with the processing of pricing (numerical) and such other related marketing cues as “color.” Dr. Chandrashekaran’s research has been published in several leading academic journals in the field including The Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Retailing, Advances in Consumer Research, Journal of Product and Brand Management and Journal of Consumer Affairs. His research has also been presented at numerous national and international conferences for which has received several accolades.
Yoshiko DeMotta, Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Marketing
Yoshiko DeMotta received her Ph.D. in Marketing from Graduate Center/Baruch College of the City University of New York, and also has an M.B.A. from Seattle University and a B.A. in Education from Yokohama National University in Japan. Dr. DeMotta currently teaches consumer behavior, principles of marketing, and database marketing. She specializes in consumer psychology on topics that relate to prosocial behavior, charitable giving, corporate social responsibility, and public policy, and has published articles in academic journals such as the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing and Social Influence. Prior to her academic career, she had ten years of experience in the private sector working as a researcher of the advertising and marketing industries at Dentsu and a research analyst at Governance Metrics International.
Burçak Ertimur, Ph.D. Associate Professor Marketing
Burçak Ertimur is Associate Professor of Marketing at the Silberman College of Business (SCB). Dr. Ertimur received her Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of California, Irvine. She holds an M.S. degree in Marketing and a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Bilkent University, Turkey. Her research examines value co-creation and its sociocultural dynamics with implications for marketing strategy, brand management, and market evolution using multi-methods. Her research on “consumer-generated advertising” has been supported by the Marketing Science Institute and received recognitions by the Society for Marketing Advances and the Academy of Marketing Science. Dr. Ertimur’s work has been published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Consumer Behavior, Journal of Interactive Marketing, and Australasian Marketing Journal. Dr. Ertimur teaches courses in marketing strategy and consumer behavior at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels. In 2013, she was selected to participate in Advertising Educational Foundation’s Visiting Professor Program; a two-week fellowship that allows exchange of ideas between academia and advertising, marketing, and media companies. In 2014, she was nominated by the student leadership of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars chapter at FDU for Distinguished Membership into the Society. She is also the recipient of the 2015 SCB Teacher of the Year Award.
Alan Fask, Ph.D. Professor of Decision Science
Professor Fask currently serves as Professor of Statistics and Decision Sciences at FDU. He joined FDU in 1973. His academic credentials include a B.S. in Mathematics from CCNY, an M.S. in Operations Research and a Ph.D. in Statistics, both from New York University.
Over the last forty years, Dr. Fask has served as a consultant to many large companies including Novartis, Schering-Plough, Roche, Merck, Adams, Forest and Warner Lambert, as well as Atlantic Health. His consulting and publications generally reflects his fairly wide research interests which include:

Eleanor Ann Huser, Senior Lecturer of Marketing
Professor Huser started teaching at FDU in 1999 and is currently teaching marketing courses in the BS program (Principles of Marketing, Marketing Communications and Advanced Marketing Management) and MBA program (Marketing Concepts, Marketing Principles, Marketing Management and Management of Advertising). She has been awarded Teacher of the Year twice, recognizing her creative approach to teaching, in which she stresses experiential and cooperative learning. She has published in the areas of business pedagogy and entrepreneurship/strategy. During this time, she has also lead marketing seminars in a corporate setting and done marketing consulting. Prior to 1999, she worked primarily in brand management on brands such as Jell-O (gelatin and pudding) and new snack products for the company currently called Kraft Foods Group, Inc. Her specialty was new product development. She also worked in advertising, strategic planning and consulting for a variety of organizations. Her education credentials include a B.A. and Master’s degree from Duke University, doctoral coursework at Boston University, and a Master of Science in Management from the Sloan School at M.I.T.
Jeffrey Hsu, Ph.D. Professor of Management Information Systems
Jeffrey Hsu is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Silberman College of Business, Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Dr. Hsu is Managing Editor of the International Journal of Data Analysis and Information Systems and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Information and Communication Technology Education.
Maureen Kieff, M.B.A. Senior Lecturer of Quantitative Analysis
Maureen Kieff earned the following degrees: B.A. in Mathematics (with a minor in Physics) from Saint Francis University; M.B.A. with a concentration in Quantitative Analysis from Fairleigh Dickinson University; M.A. in Economics with a concentration in Financial Economics from Fordham University. She also completed all coursework and comprehensive examinations for a doctorate. She holds the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences.
In addition to being a professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University for many years, she also taught at the County College of Morris and was granted tenure. During her career she has received 13 awards and honors for teaching and service, including recognition as the Silberman College of Business Teacher of the Year.
She is a co-author of a textbook entitled Mathematics for Business, has mentored several honors projects, and has served as the Chair of various academic committees. Her primary research interest is the performance of mutual funds.
Yongbeom Kim, Ph.D. Professor of Information Systems
Yongbeom Kim is Professor of Information Systems at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He received his B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, and M. Phil and Ph.D. in information systems from the Stern School of Business of New York University. His research interests include privacy concerns in social networking sites, performance evaluation of interactive computer systems, enterprise systems, and IS education. He has published in such journals as the Journal of Management Information Systems, Information Processing & Management, Information Resources Management Journal, Business Process Management Journal, Internet Research and Journal of Information systems Education.
Kwon Gi Mun, Ph.D. Assistant Professor Supply Chain Management
Kwon Gi Mun’s research in supply chain management focuses on energy system based modeling, energy policy, dynamic pricing in air cargo market, integration of supply chain management with project management, and applications in healthcare industry. His research interests also include combinatorial optimization, and inventory management. He is the recipient of Honorable Mention of the 2014 student paper competition in the INFORMS NJ Chapter. He is a reviewer of a major journal of this area, Annals of Operations Research.
He teaches supply chain management and core operations management courses for undergraduate, master, and MBA at Silberman College of Business. Prior to joining Fairleigh Dickinson University, he taught at Rutgers Business School. He is currently a joint PhD candidate in Operations Research and Supply Chain Management at Rutgers University, and received his M.A, for University of Missouri-Columbia, and B.A. from Ajou University, Korea. He was also an IUDC visiting PhD student at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science in Columbia University. He previously worked at the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a global organization, GS1 (Global Standard 1). He has also participated as a volunteer in a campaign, Habitat for Humanity for 12 years.
Li Qin, Ph.D. Associate Professor of Information Systems
Dr. Li Qin holds a Ph.D. in Management (Information Technology) and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University, a B.S. and a B.A. from Tianjin University, China. Her research interests include semantic web, information security, and social media marketing. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in information systems at FDU.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her son, Max. Besides, she enjoys movies and shows, cooking and dining (international food), tennis, and home decoration.

His primary research focus has been on Queuing theory and stochastic processes. He has published extensively in this area including in; the Journal of Service Science, International Journal of Management & Information System, Computers and Industrial Engineering, and the International Journal of Business & Economic Research.

Professional Experience: Lotfi Tadj has taught mathematics, statistics, operations research, and operations management at the Université des Science et de la Technologie Houari-Boumediène in Algeria (1987 – 1990), Florida Institute of Technology (1991 – 1993) and Brevard Community College in the US (1993 – 1995), King Saud University in Saudi Arabia (1995 – 2007), American University in Dubai (2008 – 2010), Saint Mary’s University and Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia (2010 – 2013), and the International School of Management in France (2009).
Research interests: Lotfi Tadj’s research interests are in the areas of queueing theory, inventory theory, optimal control theory, reliability theory, and statistical inference.

Dr. Tan’s current research interests include user adoption and acceptance of advanced information technology and information systems. He also conducts research to identify business value of emerging information technologies, as well as to address issues in information systems development. Dr. Tan has published papers in Information Systems Journal, Communications of the ACM, Decision Support Systems, Data & Knowledge Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, Internet Research and Journal of Computer Information Systems. His research also appeared in peer-reviewed conference proceedings including International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), and Americas Conference eon Information Systems (AMCIS).
Omer Topaloglu, Assistant Professor of Marketing
Omer Topaloglu is an assistant professor of marketing in the Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Texas Tech University, an M.B.A. from Montclair State University, and a B.A. in Economics from Bogaziçi University. His research areas include social media marketing, service marketing, and brand management. His research has appeared in the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Services Marketing, Service Business, Industrial Management, and International Journal of Computational Intelligence. He teaches courses in principles of marketing, social media marketing, and sales. K. Paul Yoon, Ph.D. Professor of Decision Science
Dr. Yoon received his Ph.D. degree from Kansas State University. He has taught courses on Quantitative Analysis, Operations Management, Quality Management, and Statistics. His research areas include Strategic Decision Analysis, Quality Management (Six Sigma), and Fuzzy Set Applications on Operations Management. Recently, he is working on user friendly translation of statistical principles.
Dr. Yoon has published 30+ scholarly journal publications and three books, including the prestigious Sage Quantitative Applications in Social Sciences Series #104: Multiple Attribute Decision Making.
Dr. Yoon spent one year as Visiting Research Associate Professor at Kansas State University. He has been a consultant to HTX International, HESI, PSE&G and many more. He is a column writer for a daily Korean newspaper in NYC.
Wenshu Zhang, Assistant Professor of Marketing
Wenshu Zhang joined the Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University as an assistant professor of marketing in August 2017. She received her PhD degree in marketing from Purdue University, M.S. in business administration from Seoul National University, South Korea, and B.S. in marketing from Peking University, China. Her research interests focus on quantitative marketing including both analytical research and empirical research, with a particular interest in marketing channel coordination and salesforce management. She teaches marketing research, strategic marketing, and principles of marketing.
