The First Energy Foundation provided a $20,000 grant to FDU's Institute for Sustainable, Silberman College of Business, to support the design, development and implementation of programs to learn how to develop and lead thriving sustainable enterprises.

Dr. Dan Twomey, FDU Professor Emeritus and former ISE Director, was honored at his alma mater, the State University of New York, as an inductee in the SUNY Cobleskill Business School Hall of Fame. A formal induction ceremony was held on Saturday, September 29, 2007. Dr. Twomey received a plaque with a brief description of his accomplishments.
