Service Learning Course
Professors Farias and Fairfield have developed our MGMT 4303 class into a Service-Learning experience for students. The class learns about how organizations operate by managing a series of fund-raising events for area charities. So far, classes have raised thousands of dollars for such charities as the local food bank and the American Heart Association.
The fall 2013 class is supporting the "Touch the World" project helping to aid disadvantaged students in Africa.
This class raised funds for"The Seeing Eye" of Morristown.
The fall 2009 class raised funds for “Feed the Children". The class donated about $2,000 and about 2,000 pieces of clothing.
This class raised funds for St. Jude's Children's Hospital
This class raised funds for
a not-for-profit, volunteer medical services organization that provides reconstructive facial surgery to indigent children and young adults.
This class raised funds for the
Goryeb Children's Hospital of Morristown Medical Center
Fall 2006 class raised nearly $22,000 for
