The following is a list of useful resources for students and faculty interested in learning more about pharmacy schools, the Doctor of Pharmacy degree and the nationwide need for pharmacists.

Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education - The ACPE is the agency that assesses doctoral pharmacy and awards accreditation for programs to offer the Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Note: Only students graduating from ACPE accredited degree programs are authorized to sit for pharmacy licensure exams and practice pharmacy within the United States.

American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy - The AACP is the academic organization for pharmacy education, and their website includes useful resources on curriculum, doctoral program information and other details of academic pharmacy.

American College of Clinical Pharmacy - Practitioners, scientists, educators, administrators, students, residents, fellows, and others committed to excellence in clinical pharmacy and patient pharmacotherapy.

American Pharmacists' Association - The pharmacist's professional organization, dedicated to serving practicing pharmacists through support and education.

American Society of Health-System Pharmacists - Professional association representing pharmacists who practice in hospitals, health maintenance organizations, long-term care facilities, home care, and other components of health care systems.

New Jersey Board of Pharmacy - State licensing entity for pharmacies and pharmacists.

New Jersey Pharmacists' Association - The state professional organization for practicing pharmacists.

New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists - Professional development organization for pharmacists employed by health-system institutions.

PharmCAS - This is the centralized application system for all students applying to pharmacy programs. Follow this link to apply or learn more about the application process for pharmacy school.
