Dr. Ayşe Elif Özdener

Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice


Biography

Dr. Ayşe Elif Özdener joined the School of Pharmacy in August 2014. As Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Dr. Özdener precepts students during their experiential rotation in ambulatory care pharmacy practice and assists with teaching in the classroom at the School of Pharmacy. Dr. Özdener’s clinical practice site is at Zufall Health Center in Dover, New Jersey.

Dr. Özdener received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of the Sciences, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She completed her post-graduate, ASHP-accredited, residency training focused on ambulatory care pharmacy practice at Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Dr. Özdener also completed the Teaching and Learning Curriculum program through Wilkes University, Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. She is a licensed pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Dr. Özdener is excited to be a part of the School of Pharmacy at Fairleigh Dickinson University and is passionate about teaching and mentoring pharmacy students in the area of ambulatory care pharmacy practice.
