Dr. Sibyl Cherian

Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice


Biography

Dr. Sibyl Cherian joined the School of Pharmacy in August 2015. As Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Dr. Cherian provides experiential education to Pharm.D. students in a hospital setting. Dr. Cherian's practice site is located at Overlook Medical Center.

Dr. Cherian received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John's University, College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions. Upon graduation, she completed a general ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, followed by a geriatrics specialty residency at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. During her residency, she completed a teaching certificate program through Long Island University and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Dr. Cherian is interested in improving geriatric pharmaceutical care at her practice site and enjoys mentoring and educating pharmacy students in the field of geriatrics.
