Financial Aid and Student Services Counselor
Peter Buechner joined the School of Pharmacy in June 2012. As the Financial Aid and Student Services Counselor, Peter provides guidance to students on financial aid and admissions processes. Peter assists with the students' day-to-day admissions needs and recruiting for the School of Pharmacy. Peter helps the School of Pharmacy promote the profession of pharmacy and health wellness and awareness through community marketing and sponsorship events.
Prior to joining FDU, Peter was an Admissions Counselor at Berkeley College in New York, where he advised students in admissions, financial aid, degree choices and career opportunities. Peter was also heavily involved with recruiting and community outreach.
Peter earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Pharmaceutical Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from The University of Scranton. For many years, Peter has been involved with various local and national non-profit organizations. He has helped to raise awareness for the organizations, assisted in accelerating their growth and has spent time volunteering at numerous events. Peter enjoys helping others achieve their goals and is ecstatic to be a part of the School of Pharmacy community.
Peter enjoys assisting students and prospective students in the pursuit of their dreams and aspirations.
