BA in Interdisciplinary Studies - Sports Administration Concentration
Sports Administration is our most popular concentration. It prepares students for positions in front office management, coaching, marketing, and recreation. Students take 36 credits in sports administration in courses devoted to legal and ethical aspects of the field, exercise science, nutrition, fund raising, and marketing among other topics. An internship is also requirement. Another 21 credits in business, communications, accounting, economics, and computer science provide important skills necessary not only for careers in sports administration but in business in general.
Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies/Master of Sports Administration Five-Year Combined Degree Program. Students with a 3.0 GPA and 75 credits will be accepted into the MSA program and take 18 credits of MSA courses in their senior year, enabling the student to complete the 2-year MSA in one year after completing their undergraduate course requirements.
