Tracey Coleman

Adjunct Professor, International School of Hospitality & Tourism Management

Professor Coleman has over twenty years of international experience in the travel and tourism industry that includes working on product development, destination marketing, pricing, revenue management and distribution strategies for both leisure and corporate travel markets.

She has worked closely with all segments of the travel industry including Tourist Boards and Chambers of Commerce, Transportation: (Airlines & Rail) Hotels, Conference & Incentive Organisers and Attractions. Working within international tourism Professor Coleman has traveled extensively, including participating in trade missions and conferences in the United States, Mexico, Europe, Turkey and Japan.

As Regional Manager, North America for Eurostar, the international high-speed rail carrier, she managed the sales and marketing strategy for the United States, Canada and Mexico and was part of a dedicated team working on legacy projects such as the opening of St Pancras International Station in London.

While working within the hotel and resorts industry, she was a member of the Opening Crew at Disneyland Paris, France in 1992. She has also worked for attractions including Madame Tussauds Plc in London.

Professor Coleman graduated with a BA Honours degree in Modern Languages (French & Spanish) from the University of Leeds, England. She was awarded her MA degree Tourism Management by the University of Westminster, London, England.

Professor Coleman holds both an International and National Certificate in Professional Competence in Road Haulage Transportation and is certified to teach Travel & Tourism and Hospitality by the State of New Jersey.
