Sarkis Nehme

Program Coordinator and Senior Lecturer, International School of Hospitality and Tourism Management

Sarkis Nehme is the Program Coordinator and Senior Lecturer of the MS in Hospitality at Wroxton College of Fairleigh Dickinson University. A food & beverage specialist with more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, professor Nehme holds two diplomas in Hospitality and in Hotel and Restaurant Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, and a double Master’s degree in International Hospitality from Perpignan University in France and the Lebanese University in Beirut. He also took several courses in research techniques and UNESCO World Heritage Studies. Currently, Professor Nehme is writing his PhD thesis at the Brandenburg University of Technology in Germany on the topic of food sustainability.

Professor Nehme worked and consulted for many innovative hospitality concepts in the Middle East and Europe, and held the positions of Executive Chef, and of Food and Beverage Manager for several years. In addition, he trained and guided students at hospitality schools, and taught several undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Professor Nehme’s experience includes all types of food and beverage operations and management, sustainable and cultural tourism, and training and development.
