Elizabeth Tickner Lehmann

Adjunct Professor, International School of Hospitality & Tourism Management

Professor Lehmann possesses over 30 years of experience within the field of hospitality. She has held the position of Executive Chef in several venues including, various independently owned restaurants and catering operations. She was an Executive Chef and Assistant Food Service Director for Wood Food Service Company. Prof.  Lehmann is the Chef/Owner of TLC Catering, Inc. For the past 10 years she has worked for Brookdale Community College at the Culinary Education Center of Monmouth County, and in 2006 she was recognized as an Outstanding Staff Member of the Year.

While employed at the Culinary Education Center she has taught:

  • Introduction to Culinary Arts
  • Serv-Safe Sanitation and Safety
  • Nutrition in Culinary Arts Lab

In preparing for her career, Prof. Lehmann secured the following educational degrees and certifications:

A.O.S. The Culinary Institute of America

  • B.A. Hospitality Management, Fairleigh Dickinson University
  • M.S. Hospitality Management, Fairleigh Dickinson University
  • Certified Hospitality Educator from the AH&LA in June 2000.

Affiliations include the Alumni Association of The Culinary Institute of America and Clean Ocean Action Coalition. Prof. Lehmann has also been active in support of the Monmouth and Ocean County Foodbank and National Childhood Hunger Day.
