Professor Cathy Trementozzi is an adjunct faculty member in the International School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and teaches the following courses:
• Professional Skills Development
• The Manager and the Group
• The Hospitality Manager and the Law
• Domestic and International Tourism
Professor Trementozzi earned an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in management from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She was inducted twice into the prestigious international honor society in business, Delta Mu Delta, for her graduate and undergraduate academic excellence. She holds the elite designations of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management.
Professor Trementozzi brings to the classroom more than 15 years of executive leadership experience in various domains including travel and tourism, transportation and logistics, and retail and wholesale. During her professional tenure she has held senior level roles including vice president, director, and manager. Her multi-faceted functional background spans human resources, corporate communications, client services, risk management, operations, and consulting.
Professor Trementozzi is a member of Skål International, the world’s largest professional travel and tourism organization. She serves on the board of directors for the Northern New Jersey chapter and is their director of public relations. She has been featured in global and local media, and has written articles for leading periodicals, including Global Travel Industry News / eTurboNews (eTN), e-Skal News, Courier News, Home News Tribune, and their digital platforms. Her articles and travel blogs have been read all over the world. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, HR People & Strategy, New Jersey Human Resources Planning Group, and SHRM of Central New Jersey.
Besides working, teaching, and learning, Professor Trementozzi loves traveling, ballroom dancing, reading, writing, and attempting to play golf.
