Shealine Black

Coordinator of Marketing, International School of Hospitality & Tourism Management

Shealine Black is the Coordinator of Marketing for the International School of Hospitality & Tourism Management (ISHTM). She coordinates from conceptualization to execution most of the marketing events including external trade shows, community college transfer fairs, and high school career days. Professor Black serves as the Content Manager for the International School of Hospitality & Tourism Management website and designs most of the marketing materials, including brochures, banners, and promotional items.

In addition to her marketing duties, Professor Black has provided academic advising and support services to the ISHTM graduate students, which includes course registration, test proctoring and assisting students with their understanding of the colleges’ academic policies and procedures. Professor Black also monitors each student’s academic performance and intervenes when students encounter academic and cultural challenges.

Professor Black is a member of the Adjunct faculty in theBachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies program and Becton College. She teaches "Human Motivation and Behavior" and "Professional Communications". She has been with Fairleigh Dickinson University since May of 2000. She was previously the Assistant to the University Provost, where among other things, she liaised with the Board of Trustees, United Nations and Faculty Senate. She joined the staff of the International School of Hospitality and Tourism Management in August 2009.
