Master of Science in Supply Chain Management

In as little as 16 months, an MS degree in Supply Chain Management from Silberman College of Business will equip you with the technical and managerial skills to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. Employers increasingly seek candidates with skills that will enable their organizations to better manage their supply chains and operations.

The MS-SCM program is a cohort-based, 30-credit graduate study, comprised of ten 3-credit courses. Two foundation courses in business analytics and supply chain strategies are followed by five core courses including operations analysis and logistics management, and three enrichment courses including project management. The program is equally appropriate for new business graduates and for skills reinforcement for professionals in mid-career.

Master of Health Science

The Master of Health Science (MHS) is a blended degree program (combining online and in-person coursework) designed with four tracks allowing students unique opportunities for career development and advancement. This 31-credit program can be completed in as little as one year or on a self-paced schedule that suits the needs of working professionals seeking career advancement.

All students obtaining the MHS will complete a 10-credit health science core, consisting of course work around the legal, ethical, managerial and public health issues facing all aspects of health care. Following the completion of this core curriculum, students will have the option to pursue one of the four distinct tracks available. The Basic MHS, named the Gateway to Professional Studies (GPS), is intended to further prepare students for professional school. Students within this track will complete course work in biochemistry, pharmacology, communication skills, histology, anatomy, physiology and other relevant topics of study.

In addition there are three specially designed tracks that provide focused expertise in the area of Clinical Research Administration, Regulatory Science or Health Informatics. Students in these specialized tracks will complete the same 10-credit core but will then move into more advanced and specialized course work in preparation for future careers in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory affairs, health outcomes, and health care delivery.

Initially, the four tracks will be offered as a blended degree with courses offered fully online or in person, and some providing a combination of the two methods. The Program Director and faculty involved in the program will explore the viability of delivering this program exclusively online by the end of the third year, providing a regional and national target audience for these unique courses of study.
