Directions to Camp Discovery Tour & Camp Drop Off – Teaneck

 

(Please call 201-692-6500 – for directions to the camp registration office in Hackensack)

From Route 4 East:  Take River Road Exit. Turn right at T. Follow to left into North Lot entrance. Drive through parking lot towards buildings & river. Parking is straight ahead. Walk along river on path – towards Alumni Hall/Jeepers (building with lots of windows – to the right of the satellite dish). Meet by entrance that says Jeepers over door way (lower entrance of Alumni Hall – that is directly across from the river).

From Route 4 West:  Take River Rd exit. Turn left off exit. Go past athletic fields. Drive straight through parking lot towards buildings and river. Parking is straight ahead. Walk along river on path – towards Alumni Hall/Jeepers (building with lots of windows – to the right of the satellite dish). Meet by entrance that says Jeepers over door way (lower entrance of Alumni Hall – that is directly across from the river)

 

Call 201-692-6500 if you get lost.  Please leave extra time as it can be confusing to find. 

 

Directions to Camp Discovery Camp Drop Off – Madison

From New York City (approx. 25miles): From Lincoln Tunnel, continue to I-95 (New Jersey Turnpike) south to Exit 15W - I-280. Follow I-280 West to 80 West to I-287 South to Exit 37 (NJ 24 East). Follow NJ 24 East to Exit 2A (NJ 510 West). At first light (Park Avenue), make a left. The entrance to FDU is four lights down on the right-hand side. Follow road to guard hut - turn right. Pass the Science Building on left to next building and look for parking lot on right. Walk across the road to the New Academic Building (set back).

From Northeast: Take I-287 across the Tappan Zee Bridge to Exit 37 (NJ 24 East). Follow NJ 24 East to Exit 2A (NJ 510 West). At first light (Park Avenue), make a left. The entrance to FDU is four lights down on the right-hand side. Follow road to guard hut - turn right. Pass the Science Building on left to next building and look for parking lot on right. Walk across the road to the New Academic Building (set back).

From West on I-80: Exit onto I-287 South to Exit 37 (NJ 24 East). Follow NJ 24 East to Exit 2A (NJ 510 West). At first light (Park Avenue), make a left. The entrance to FDU is four lights down on the right-hand side. Follow road to guard hut - turn right. Pass the Science Building on left to next building and look for parking lot on right. Walk across the road to the New Academic Building (set back).

From South: Take NJ Turnpike to Exit 10, I-287 North to Exit 35. At the end of exit, turn left at light. Make quick right; go one block and make another right onto Madison Avenue (Route 124 East). The entrance to campus is approximately 2.5 miles on the left, shortly after passing the Madison Hotel. Go under bridge and turn left. New Academic building is 4th building on right (set back). Parking is across the road on left.

From Newark Area: I-78 West. Follow Route 24 West to Exit 2A (NJ510 West). At first light, turn left. The entrance to the FDU campus is four lights down on the right hand side. Follow road to guard hut - turn right. Pass the Science Building on left to next building and look for parking lot on right. Walk across the road to the New Academic Building (set back).

From Pennsylvania: Take I-78 East to I-287 North to Exit 35. At the end of exit, turn left at light. Make a quick right; go one block and make another right onto Madison Avenue (Route 124 East). The entrance to campus is approximately 2.5 miles on the left, shortly after passing the Madison Hotel. Go under bridge and turn left. New Academic building is 4th building on right (set back). Directions to Camp Discovery Camp Tour – Madison

Follow directions above to drop off but go to the next building - the Recreation Center. Meet in the Recreation center lobby in front of the pool. The Recreation Center is located to the right of the New Academic Building and is set close to the road. The same parking lot serves both buildings.
