Thomas C. Kelly joined the Faculty of the Paralegal Studies Program in 2001. He is an adjunct instructor for the course in Estates, Wills and Trusts and the course in Real Estate and Mortgages. He is a solo practitioner with offices in West Caldwell, N.J.
Mr. Kelly is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey. He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States in 1979.
His practice is general in nature and includes advice and counsel in the areas for which he is an instructor. Further, he has had a concentration in public utility law and cable television law and provides assistance to clients in the areas of litigation, appellate practice and general commercial matters.
During his 30 years of practice Mr. Kelly has been a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and a member of the section of Real Property and Probate as well as the Public Utility Law section. He is a former chairperson of the section. He has also been a member of the American Bar Association and its sections dealing with general practice, real property and probate and public utilities.
Mr. Kelly has participated in several matters in behalf of clients for which opinions have been published in New Jersey courts.
