Ms. Herzenberg is a sole practitioner whose practice involves representing business enterprises. She handles business organization matters, from incorporation and formation, capitalization and beyond, throughout the life cycle of an entity. She counsels business owners in their relations with co-owners, customers, lenders, investors and regulators. She negotiates contracts on behalf of clients, including confidentiality agreements, joint ventures, independent contractor and buy-sell agreements, and advises on business succession matters.
Following her graduation from NYU in 1991, Ms. Herzenberg worked in the corporate law department of a large Boston law firm, concentrating on corporate finance and banking matters. In 1995, she joined the in-house legal department of a Bank of New York Mellon, where she focused on corporate governance and bank regulatory matters, as well as commercial, personal and mortgage lending regulations and transactions. In 2001 she joined the corporate law department of a small regional law firm in Monmouth County NJ, and left in 2012 to form her own practice.
Ms. Herzenberg also counsels non-profit entities on formation, governance and compliance matters. She resides in Tinton Falls with her husband and their two rescued pets.
