Transitioning to a Green World Of Possibilities
Career Opportunities in the New Green Economy
Funded by the Provident Bank through the Independent College Fund of New Jersey
“Transitioning to a Green World of Possibilities” is an engaging and highly interactive one-day Forum designed to provide students with the basic knowledge, frameworks and motivation for making a transition to a more green and sustainable future.
As part of the Forum students receive an online green career self-assessment that includes aspirations, interests, skills and capabilities. This is completed prior to the Forum.
Upon completion of the Forum, students will be able to:
(1) understand key trends in sustainability and the emerging green economy;
(2) explore what they can do in their career and as an individual to contribute to the transition to a more sustainable/green economy; and
(3) develop their knowledge in green industries relevant to their customized career path.
LEAD INSTRUCTOR: JEANA WIRTENBERG, Ph.D.
