Admissions Information

ADMISSIONS

To be considered for admission, you must complete a Center for Excellence Application Form and submit it to the Office of Continuing Education.  

Interested students should either currently work in a nonprofit organization or have a strong interest in working in the sector.

 

FEES

  • $1,900.00 Tuition for the Certificate in Executive Nonprofit Leadership and the Certificate in Executive Philanthropy  ***
  • $400.00 Tuition for the Certificate in Nonprofit Essentials
  • $20.00 registration fee (included in the tuition cost)

Tuition Amounts are Subject to University Tuition Rate Increases

 

  • 20% Discount ($500) towards the $2500 Tuition above to the FDU Community and Affiliates of the Center for Excellence. See Application form for listing of Affiliates.

All discounts are forfeited if you withdraw from the program.

The discounts of 20% or $500 is NOT applicable to the Nonprofit Essentials Certificate.

 

SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarship is applicable only for Executive Nonprofit Leadership Certificate and Executive Philanthropy & Resource Development Certificate but not for Certificate in Nonprofit Essentials

Partial scholarships up to 20% are available to non-Affiliated organizations. To request a scholarship, please complete the scholarship form below. Scholarship awards are based on the availability of funding and the demonstrated individual or organizational financial need.

Completed applications are reviewed regularly and applicants are promptly notified whether or not he/she has been admitted to the program.

 

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

Students will be entitled to tuition refunds or cancellation of charges for tuition, other than the $20.00 application fee, in accordance with the following schedule below. Refunds are based upon payment of 100% of the tuition. While the University permits students to pay through deferred payment programs, refunds are not calculated on partial payments.

 

EFFECTIVE DATE

Five days prior to the start of the Program……………….100% cancellation of tuition

During the first week prior to the Program……………….75% credit for tuition charges only

Thereafter……………………………………………….……………. No refunds of tuition and fees
