CCM-FDU Scholars Program
The CCM-FDU Scholars Program encourages County College of Morris graduates to continue their bachelor’s degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Students are eligible for the CCM-FDU Scholars Program 40% tuition reduction as soon as they have completed their associate degree at County College of Morris, applied to FDU, and have been accepted for admission into FDU*. The CCM-FDU Scholars Program discount is available to CCM graduates choosing to enroll part time or full time at FDU.
The CCM-FDU Scholar is given a minimum 40% reduction in tuition at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Additional financial incentives are also available to those who are eligible for any or all of the below.
- CCM cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher
- Residential housing grant
- NJ Stars II participant
Interested students should set up a meeting as soon as possible to discuss how their CCM curriculum requirements will also satisfy the FDU requirements. Meetings are encouraged each semester so the CCM advisor, FDU Scholars Program Liaison and you, the student, can monitor how to integrate each school’s courses for a seamless transition from associate to bachelor's degree completion.
The CCM-FDU Scholars Program Liaison is available in CCM's Cohen Hall Alcove on Thursdays from 11:00-1:00 pm to answer questions and offer information about FDU. The Liaison will be able to give you more insight into the FDU major of your choice and open the door to communication with FDU faculty members. FDU strongly encourages prospective students to visit campus, meet faculty members, and sit in on a few classes.
As you near your graduation from County College of Morris, the CCM-FDU Scholars Program Liaison, along with academic advisors, will create a Fairleigh Dickinson University schedule with you for your first semester. Our goal is to help you achieve your academic dreams. We are two schools with one goal: Your Success.
* CCM students who have received their associate degree after October, 2015 are eligible.
