Theater Faculty - Helen Farmer
Helen Farmer is an actor and teacher based in Manhattan. As an actor Helen has worked with various theaters across the US and Canada including, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Crossroads Theatre, Dorset Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Diversecity, Blank Space, Shakespeare in the Rough, Classical Theatre Lab and Theatre Calgary. She trained with Keith Johnstone at his improv theatre Loose Moose and performed as a member of Toronto’s Second City company. Helen was born and raised in Calgary Alberta. She holds a BA in Theater from the University of Guelph and graduated from Rutgers Mason Gross program with an MFA in acting. Helen is also a certified Alexander Technique teacher working with private students in New York City.
