Meet Alexandra Cappuccilli...
We had a chance to catch up with one of our stellar students, Alexandra Cappuccilli, a year after graduation.
What have you been doing since graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University?
I have been freelancing for Physique 57, a fitness company in NYC, as well as a start-up marketing company in my hometown called JayOH Marketing.
What are the most important things you learned while at FDU?
In addition to the obvious technical skills I gained at FDU, I learned how manage my time as well as effectively communicate my ideas and projects to large groups.
Why did you choose graphic design as a career?
I chose graphic design as a career because it gives me the creative liberties to express my views and have my voice be heard. Almost everything in this world is understood through visual means; therefore, I strive to have my work understood across a universal platform.
What college subjects did you like best? Why?
I enjoyed the courses teaching the core design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) the best because it gave me a solid foundation to begin a career in graphic design.
Where would you like to be one year from now?
In one year, I would like to be working full-time under a Senior Designer to ensure I keep learning and growing as a designer in this constantly evolving industry.
