Industrial/Organizational Psychology MA (Concentration in Organizational Behavior)
The low-residence concentration in Organizational Behavior option within the MA Industrial and Organizational Psychology program is targeted toward working professionals who have attained, or who aspire to leadership positions in the future. The curriculum is designed to develop personal leadership competencies and to apply them in a variety of organizational contexts. Students work with skilled instructors and personal mentors to strengthen and apply their experience and knowledge.
All classes are held on alternate Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m and include significant on-line work. Intensive year-round scheduling makes it possible to complete the entire 36-credit program within 24 months. Most classes include a 'mentoring' component, where each student works one-on-one with an experienced business or professional faculty mentor and coach to ehnance their career prospects.
Articulation with the Certificate in Organizational Leadership
Individuals unable to commit to the full program may opt for the Certificate in Organizational Leadership Program which consists of 6 of the required courses. Credits earned toward the Certificate can be applied to the full program at a later time.
