Public Relations Minor
Department of Communication Studies
The 15-credit Public Relations minor is designed for students interested in studying the theoretical and practical elements associated with the ethical and responsible practice of public relations and corporate communications. The field of public relations has continued to grow and change over the last 10 years and now, more than ever, students need to enhance their knowledge and be well versed in the role that issues of globalization, ethics and responsibility now play in the field.

- COMM 3244 Public Relations Campaigns
- COMM 3030 Events Planning for the PR Professional
- COMM 4001 Communication Internship (must be in the area of PR)
- FILM 1501 Cinematic Storytelling
- PSYC 1201 General Psychology
- PSYC 3310 Social Psychology
- PSYC 3318 Psychology of Everyday Persuasion (Wroxton option)
